Went over to Chua Chu Kang to meet up with the ever adorable Ailing today. Cheered me up considerably. She was her usual bubbly self, hopping around and still as “auntie” as ever.
The authentic Ai Ai. Haha..

The moment I stepped out of the control station, I saw John, Baoling and the rest of the 5+1 gang waiting outside. John with his glasses and nerdy.. erm I mean decent hairstyle and Kenny looking 15 rather than 17, Huifen with her long tresses, Baoling in white sleeveless top and ailing in her auntie market wear. Haha.. Dun worry, I am not going bonkers..

With a smile on my face, I knew that I was recapturing the first time we went over to Ailing’s place, and that was 3 years ago.

That was the first day that Serene and I broke up and I was feeling rather depressed.

That was the first time I found out that Baoling loved eggs, and saw her swallowing a whole egg yolk that was in her ban mian.

That was the first time Baoling and I listened to Jolin’s “wo zhi dao ni heng nan guo” together.

That was the first time John broke Felix’s nose.

That was the first time Gobby scratched John’s face.

That was the first time I tried my hand at spaghetti, and it turned out to be mee goreng with meatball instead!


Sigh.. I really miss those days. Projects up to our necks, full of crap during meetings, slacking after school, lazing in student lounge, ktv etc.

Most importantly, I miss 5+1..
