How many of us has never loved and lost?
How many of us has never lost and gained?
How many of us has never gained and won?
And how many of us has never won before?

Winning is not everything. You may have lost this time round, but as long as you are brave enough to face it, I believe that happiness is just around the corner.

Have you ever wondered about the importance of editing?

How it can transform a seemingly domestic product into a different category altogether?

How the same packaging with minor amendments can translate to different uses?

What more can I say?

Man. It felt like ages since the last time I was at home this early. Barring the physical tiredness, I had a really memorable week and I am extremely greatful for that. Work now carries fatigue with an added dimension. A good one in fact.

I have been watching alot of movies recently. Miami Vice, The Night Listener, World Trade Centre, Scoop and The Departed. I didn't like Miami Vice's ending.

I caught the Night Listener at Vivo City on the 7th, where the haze was at its most destructive. It was the start of the many firsts. The opening of Vivo City, my first movie over there, my first time spending the whole day at Sentosa under the so not very clear skies. However, I didn't fancy the movie as well. The Night Listener tries too hard to be mysterious and there is no ending at all. At least Miami Vice had an ending..

World Trade Centre was depressing but meaningful. It tells us that the bond between you and your loved ones should never be taken for granted. Give your loved ones a big hug and tell them how you feel. Yeah, I felt like doing that.

Watching Scoop was a first. I have always wanted (since last week) to experience how it feels like watching a movie alone. Since it was my off day and everyone was either

1. Working
2. Studying
3. Not free
4. Didn't want to date me
5. Had other dates

I decided that it was the best time to try it out. Well.. All I can say is.. If there's anyone who is thinking of catching a movie alone, please give me a buzz. (Unless the genre is somewhat similar to 'bubble boy' or 'talking cock')

I rate The Departed as the best of the 5 movies. The cast is strong, the acting brilliant and the punchlines are delivered to great effect. Unless your name is Bernard you are a very 'straight' person, you will enjoy this movie.

There are people out there who might think that happiness is impermanent. Nothing is definite in life. We must fight for what we want and treasure the people around us. Its human nature to take things for granted. But then again, as long as there is mutual understanding and consensus, nothing is impossible. At least thats what I believe. I may think too much but I certainly know what I want.

Remember the astrologists which I mentioned in my previous post? They have become my regular customers and we are on quite good terms. This is a general analysis of my character which he promised to send.

As a person who likes to hold your cards close to your chest you can be entrusted with any job which requires dedication and privacy. You have a deep and powerful emotional nature, and are interested in, and concerned about, the feelings of other people. However you only let on how you feel when you are completely secure. And you are rarely completely secure. Struggling with anxiety of one sort or another is a major pastime, and professionally you may often feel you are fighting for survival.

Your chief characteristic is an insatiable curiosity through which you explore and learn about the world in which you live. The world of ideas is a playground in which you roam. The magic of the mind enchants you, as one idea captivates your imagination after another. Meeting people, travelling, reading, talking and learning are all means for you to gain a viewpoint on your own personal identity. You don't let your identity rest on ideas, but rather on the very nature of the mind itself. Thoughts are fleeting but mental activity is endless. You are happiest in a career which utilises your mental talent and gregariousness; you need variety and stimulation. This can involve travel, communication, talking to people - anything which gives you the opportunity to develop your mind and contact others.

You are undoubtedly a dynamic person - the type to take action immediately when you are emotionally involved in something. Whilst this dynamism is a virtue, it will often manifest as impatience - even as a sharp temper, which of course can have a negative effect on the people you work with. Learning to relax and let others come first is a part of your maturing process.

During the course of your professional life there will be a reorientation towards education and learning, and a greater emphasis on the power of image and the spoken or written word. Early in your career there may be a tendency to cultivate a lofty distance from others, particularly in regard to your willingness to learn. You may see yourself as a free spirit, who does not wish to be influenced by trivial contacts. You will discover professional advantages when you take a more humble role, and especially when you cultivate your contacts to others, building up a valuable communication network. It will also pay for you to concentrate on your basic education and skills, rather than seeking intellectual laurels.

They say that actions speak louder than words,

now I understand the true essence of it.

They say that instincts aren't always right,

now it doesn't matter anymore.

They say that fairytales are nothing compared to reality,

now I understand the difference.

They say that angels doesn't exist in the real world,

now I beg to differ.
