Some things are just not meant to be. I went through an emotional rollercoaster this week. Elated one moment, Devestated the next. Or rather, disappointed. Things do not always go your way. Sometimes, you put your best foot forward, but did not get the returns you deserved. Its a screwed up feeling really.

However, I have lost and won. I proved to somebody that he had made the wrong judgement about me all along, and that my beliefs and faith put me through. I achieved something that he thought i wouldn't be capable of. I had the last laugh eventually. HAHA..

I have accquired a new habit.

I tend to buy CDs when i am feeling low.

I already bought 5 CDs in one month.

Gotta stop all this crap.

Argh..

Recently, a few buggers commented that my blogs are rather disheartening to read. To that, all I can say is that it is my style of approach, so please bear with it. (TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!)

Anyway, Happy New Year people! With regards to the above mentioned, as much as I want to write something less disheartening, I cannot deny that I miss my friends over the Chinese New Year season. People like John, Baoling, and more recently, Carol and Charmain.

I was listening to a particular song on the radio just now which reminded me of someone. Music is a universal language and I am sure that there are songs out there which will remind your friends of you. For instance, when I hear “An Hao”, it reminds me of John. When I hear “You Make Me Wanna”, I am reminded of Baoling. “Yong Qi” reminds me of Ailing, “Dou Jiang You Tiao” reminds me of Bernard, “Dao Dai” reminds me of Serene, “The Rainbow Connection” reminds me of Kat and the list goes on and on..

So.. Which songs reminds you of me??

Finally.... the worst is over.. a hectic week.. sleepless nights.. mentally exhausting, physically tiring.. Welcome to paradise!

The most demanding part of my training is finally over. I am not going to elaborate because i am in lazy mode today. Two more weeks to go before i pass out from my course and i am starting to miss my bunk mates already. They are a wonderful bunch of people and can be rather crappy at times. There are some of the quotes that they came up with..

1. You know you are full when you stop eating
2. The sun is like shit, you can only see it when it comes out.
3. If you believe impossible is nothing, nothing is impossible
4. A man is a pen. Some are markers.
5. You know the lights are off when you are in the dark.

Not exactly what you would call inspirational, but enough to gather laughter and provide some entertainment. Sigh.. the things deprived army personnel can come up with..
