Someone asked me yesterday. 'Whats the most important thing in life'? I was stumped and I didn't know how to answer her. After thinking hard, I told her. 'A stable career and to have that special someone'. Still, I felt that it was something lifted from the textbook. I was left searching for an answer and I have been thinking about it.
I have finally found an answer. The most important in life is to have no regrets. Many of us prefer avoidance to confrontation. We choose to run away from our problems instead of finding a solution, wondering whether the situation might turn out better if we had tried to do something. Sometimes, the end result might not be our desired outcome, but one thing is definite. If we do not do anything at all, the outcome will be nil.
Thinking back, I said something really stupid yesterday. It just came out of nowhere. 'You see a wall in front of you. You think that its impossible to knock it down, but you used your head to knock on the wall anyway. In the end, you lost some blood but feel comforted knowing that you have tried'. What a dumb ass.. Hahaha..
